The heated and sprawling rivalry between The Conglomeration and The Death Riders is set to culminate in All Elite Wrestling’s most violent and chaotic match: Blood & Guts. The 10-man, double-cage match was announced on the October 29 “Fright Night” episode of AEW Dynamite and is scheduled to take place on the November 12 special edition of the show.
The challenge was made following the main event, which saw a singles match between Jon Moxley and Kyle O’Reilly end in a double countout after O’Reilly refused to release a guillotine submission on the floor. This triggered a massive brawl between all members of The Conglomeration and The Death Riders. Darby Allin, who has his own blood feud with Moxley, joined the fight on behalf of The Conglomeration.
After the two factions were separated, Mark Briscoe grabbed a microphone and teased a solution to the war before handing it off to Orange Cassidy, who, in his signature lackadaisical style, simply said, “Blood & Guts.”
It appears the 10-man match will pit the team of Darby Allin, Mark Briscoe, Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly, and Roderick Strong against the full Death Riders faction of Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia, and PAC. This will be the third Blood & Guts appearance for Moxley, Castagnoli, and Yuta.
This announcement means the November 12 episode of Dynamite will feature two of the signature cage matches, as it joins the previously announced first-ever women’s Blood & Guts match.
