Drew McIntyre’s Long-Term WWE Future Secured With New Multi-Million Dollar Deal

Following a public “offer” from Vince Russo to join his JCW promotion, a new report from Fightful Select has clarified Drew McIntyre’s WWE contract status. “The Scottish Warrior,” who re-signed with WWE in April 2024 after tense negotiations that “went down to the wire,” is locked into a new long-term, multi-year deal.

The report states that McIntyre’s current contract runs through 2028, ensuring he will be a top star in WWE for the foreseeable future, at least through WrestleMania 44. The deal is also said to be worth “several million dollars annually.”

McIntyre has been a fixture in the main event scene, most recently challenging Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at the Saturday Night’s Main Event Premium Live Event on November 1, 2025.
