AEW veteran Dustin Rhodes has provided a new update on his recovery from double-knee replacement surgery. The 56-year-old, who has been out of action since his surgery this past August, has been documenting his challenging recovery on social media.
In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), a fan asked Rhodes for an update on his knees. “The Natural” gave an honest assessment of his progress and set a potential target month for his return to the ring.
“They still hurt a bit, especially in the mornings. I do have a good way to go. Remember, I am 56 and pushing hard; just takes time. Not young anymore. Prob March, I should be ready to ki*l everyone, lol. Maybe I am pushing hard, my man.”
If his recovery stays on track, a March 2026 return would put him back in action just in time for the build to AEW’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view.
