The viewership numbers for the November 8 live episode of AEW Collision are in, and the show saw a significant increase from the previous week. According to Wrestlenomics, Collision averaged 289,000 viewers, a 33% jump from the 217,000 viewers the show drew the week prior, which aired opposite Game 7 of the MLB World Series.
The increase was even more dramatic in the key 18-49 demographic. The show drew a 0.06 rating, which is double (a 100% increase) the 0.03 rating from the previous week. The show ranked 9th for the night on cable in the key demo.
It is important to note that Nielsen’s new “Big Data + Panel” methodology makes direct comparisons to older ratings difficult. The live broadcast from Houston, Texas, was the final stop before this week’s Blood & Guts special. The main event saw Jon Moxley defeat Roderick Strong to earn the advantage for his team, and the show closed with a chaotic angle involving Darby Allin and PAC.
