The lineup for the upcoming WWE Survivor Series: WarGames event is reportedly still in flux. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, most of the matches for the November 29 show remain “up in the air,” and only the two titular WarGames matches seem to be locked in.
Here is a breakdown of the current plans:
-
Men’s WarGames: The match is expected to feature a team led by CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, and Jey Uso, with two more babyfaces, taking on a team led by Logan Paul, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed, with two partners. Paul is the replacement for the injured Seth Rollins, and Rhodes has taken a spot that was originally planned for Jacob Fatu. LA Knight and Jimmy Uso are considered possibilities for the remaining babyface spots. The report notes that neither of the major men’s World Championships is scheduled to be defended on the show.
-
Women’s WarGames: This match is expected to feature Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss (with a fifth mystery partner) taking on Asuka, Kairi Sane, Nia Jax, and Lash Legend.
-
Other Potential Matches: A match between Stephanie Vaquer and Nikki Bella is reportedly under consideration but not yet finalized. John Cena is expected to be at the event, but his match remains uncertain. A previously discussed father-son match between Rey and Dominik Mysterio now seems “shelved”, and a potential bout between Jade Cargill and Charlotte Flair is likely being saved for a later date.
