WWE SmackDown Reportedly Returning To Three-Hour Format In 2026

WWE SmackDown is reportedly set to expand back to a three-hour show in 2026. According to a report from WrestleVotes, WWE and the USA Network have agreed to make the change starting with the January 2, 2026, episode from Buffalo, NY.

This follows the same pattern as 2025, when SmackDown also ran as a three-hour show from January to June before reverting to its traditional two-hour format. WWE has not yet officially announced the move.
