AEW’s Rebel Announces Lung Cancer Diagnosis

AEW star Rebel (Tanea Brooks) announced on social media that she has been diagnosed with lung cancer.

Doctors informed her that she has primary pulmonary lymphoma, and they believe a case of pneumonia she had last year was actually the cancer. Rebel also noted that she is battling a neurological disorder that affects her speech and mobility.

She is scheduled to begin rehab soon and hopes to “beat both the infection and the cancer”. Rebel has not been featured on AEW television since early 2023. We send our best wishes to her for a full recovery.
