In a wide-ranging interview on The Ariel Helwani Show, AEW President Tony Khan addressed several hot topics surrounding the company.

On Miro (Rusev): Khan admitted they “had, at times, different visions of things” and “drifted into different ideas.” He stated, “He worked in WWE before… He clearly was excited to go back, and he did go back. I wish him the best.”

On PPVs: Khan said he is “not sure” if the model will change but is conscious of keeping prices consistent and affordable for families.

On WBD: Khan feels “really great” about the relationship, stating AEW is becoming a “bigger and bigger part” of the Warner Bros. family.

On “AEW Shockwave”: Khan confirmed it was just an idea he trademarked and likely “won’t do it,” noting he had a “nice talk” with NWA’s Billy Corgan about it.

On WWE Counter-Programming: Khan admitted he thinks it is “done on purpose” but doesn’t take it personally, viewing it as part of being a “challenger brand.”
