WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray has critiqued Brock Lesnar’s physical return to Monday Night Raw, specifically calling out the German suplex he delivered to CM Punk as “anything but crisp.”
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray drew on his own experience working with a young Lesnar to explain the Beast’s in-ring mentality.
“When you saw Brock German [suplex] Punk [Monday] night, that was anything but crisp. You should be concerned for anybody that Brock grabs ahold of. And… I know for a fact he is going to German you based on how he feels about you. See the way he threw Punk? See the way he threw Cody? Moving on.”
However, Bully also noted that Lesnar has “earned the right” to work this way.
“He has earned the [right] to be that way, and if you don’t earn your stripes with Brock, you earned getting dumped on your head, and he don’t give a f***, because he knows you’re not going to say anything.”
Lesnar is expected to join The Vision’s team for the Men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series on November 29.
