Thunder Rosa Working Toward In-Ring Return In 2026

AEW

AEW star Thunder Rosa has provided an update on her in-ring status, revealing that she is currently unable to wrestle due to health circumstances but is preparing for a return in 2026. Rosa last competed in July at All In: Texas.

Speaking on the Masks, Mats & Mayhem podcast, she explained her absence.

“Unfortunately, it’s not up to me… given the circumstances right now, I can’t be in the ring… And for me right now, my health is super important for the rest of my career. And I’m preparing myself to get back in the ring… I think this year, 2026, is gonna be extremely important.”

She also expressed frustration with her lack of microphone time in AEW, stating, “The problem is they don’t let me… I just wanna get better at what I do.”
