Tony Khan Hopes Chris Jericho Will Have His “Final Match” In AEW

AEW

With Chris Jericho’s contract reportedly expiring at the end of the year, AEW President Tony Khan has made it clear he wants “The Ocho” to stay. In an interview with Adam’s Apple NYC, Khan expressed his desire for Jericho to eventually wrestle his final match in AEW.

“I would say that absolutely, I’d love it if Chris’ final match is eventually … whenever Chris someday would want to hang it up, here in AEW. But I also don’t think Chris is really near that point.”

Khan reiterated this sentiment on The Ariel Helwani Show, stating, “I absolutely hope we’ll get Chris back in… I love having Chris in AEW, and he’s always welcome.” Rumors currently suggest that multiple companies, including WWE, are interested in signing the wrestling legend.
