Tony Khan “Not Worried At All” About WBD Sale Reports

During the post-Full Gear media scrum, AEW President Tony Khan addressed several key topics, including the potential sale of Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) and the status of Kyle O’Reilly.

Regarding the reports of Netflix, Paramount, and Comcast bidding for WBD, Khan expressed confidence in AEW’s position.

“I’m not worried at all. I feel really good. We have a great partnership with Warner Brothers Discovery… I’m very, very, very, very, very, optimistic about the future of AEW and where everything is going.”

Khan also provided a brief update on Kyle O’Reilly following his brutal No Holds Barred victory over Jon Moxley at Full Gear. When asked if O’Reilly would be cleared for the upcoming Continental Classic, Khan simply stated: “Probably not.”

Khan closed by reflecting on the company’s growth over the last year, contrasting his current feelings with the “embattled” state he felt a year prior.

“Felt, one year ago, embattled. I feel the opposite… you look at one year later and it feels like we’re on such a great run this year.”
