FTR Weigh In On Potential AEW Training Facility In Asheville

AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) have commented on reports that AEW considered opening a training facility in their hometown of Asheville, North Carolina. The idea, which also reportedly involved Adam Copeland and Beth Phoenix, is currently on hold.

Speaking on the “Battleground” podcast, Harwood expressed his passion for training but acknowledged the logistical challenges.

“It is something that is an itch that training will scratch for me. And I hope to one day be able to do that. If it’s with AEW, that would be even better. So we’ll see.”

Wheeler noted that their current schedule makes committing to a school difficult.

“Most weeks we do Dynamite and Collision… So it’s hard to like — and then you count PPVs or international tours… So there’s no set schedule for us ever… So it might be easier for us once we’re a little more part-time. And again, if Adam and Beth get over the slight misunderstanding in Toronto, maybe we can get that figured out.”
