AEW Reunited Omega With The Young Bucks To Manage His Workload

A new report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter sheds light on AEW’s booking of Kenny Omega, revealing that the company is taking specific measures to protect the star’s health. Omega recently admitted in an interview that he deals with daily injuries and has considered retirement while he still possesses his athleticism.

Dave Meltzer reports that AEW is fully aware of Omega’s physical struggles and is actively looking to keep him away from long, grueling singles matches. To accommodate this, the promotion made the decision to reunite him with The Young Bucks. The trio, who were the inaugural AEW World Trios Champions in 2022, allows Omega to share the workload in multi-man matches, preserving his health while keeping him a featured part of the show.
