TNA Wrestling is aiming high for its debut on AMC.
The company’s weekly flagship show, Thursday Night iMPACT!, moves to the network on January 15, 2026. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, officials are hoping to secure a massive appearance from the company’s most famous alumnus to kick off the new era.
“One WWE source indicated that TNA would like to have AJ Styles wrestle on the first show. It would certainly make sense to deliver a strong rating and Styles himself has said he’d like to do a match in TNA,” Dave Meltzer reported.
Styles previously appeared for TNA at Slammiversary in July 2025, but WWE only cleared him for a non-wrestling role at that time. With Frankie Kazarian currently holding the TNA World Championship, a match between the two longtime rivals would be a logical draw.
“Styles and Frankie Kazarian, the current champion, would likely want to do a match like that since they were around together for years in the promotion,” Meltzer added.
Whether WWE will approve The Phenomenal One for in-ring competition remains the deciding factor.
