Bryan Danielson Reveals History Of Seizures And Concussions

Bryan Danielson has revealed alarming details about his medical history, including undisclosed seizures.

Speaking on the Insight podcast, the AEW star stated he has suffered 13 documented concussions but believes the actual number is “probably too many” given the lack of knowledge earlier in his career. Most notably, he admitted to hiding post-concussion seizures from WWE in 2016.

“So what had happened is I’d had some post-concussion seizures that I never told WWE about. So then, Brie, who had been there to witness a post-concussion seizure. She said, ‘The next concussion you have… you need to tell them about this,’” Danielson said.

He also recounted a story where memory loss during his honeymoon caused panic for his wife, Brie Bella, though he attributed that specific incident to his “overall aloofness” rather than head trauma. regarding a potential return to the ring for Brie, Danielson noted she would likely only return to tag with her sister, Nikki.
