Kyle Fletcher is aware of the “future star” label attached to him, but he says the pressure he puts on himself is far greater.
Speaking on Insight With Chris Van Vliet, Fletcher discussed his rise as a central figure in the Don Callis Family. When asked about the expectations placed on him, he admitted he has always felt destined for greatness.
“I think none of it even comes close to the pressure that I put on myself… I always knew I wanted to be the best. I knew I wanted to be world champion,” Fletcher said.
Fletcher also revealed the origin of his signature pink gear, crediting a random tweet he saw earlier this year that claimed “not enough men wear pink in wrestling.”
“In my brain, it just like popped. I was like, triple pink… I wore that gear for the first time [at Dynasty], and just the reaction that it got was polarizing… I think I’ve just found my thing, my found my niche.”
