Will Ospreay Backstage At AEW Dynamite, Recovery Update

AEW

Will Ospreay has been absent from AEW television for months, but he was reportedly present for this week’s Dynamite in Manchester, England.

According to Fightful Select, the former International Champion was backstage at the Holiday Bash taping on Wednesday. Ospreay has not appeared on AEW programming since being written off at Forbidden Door in June to undergo neck surgery for herniated discs.

While there is no official timetable for his return to the ring, his partner, AEW star Alex Windsor, provided a positive update in a recent interview.

“I personally [think] he’ll be back better than ever. I have no doubt about it in my mind,” Windsor said.

Ospreay’s presence backstage has fueled speculation that his return could be imminent, possibly in time for AEW’s upcoming Dynasty pay-per-view or the Worlds End event later this month.
