MVP Credits Bobby Lashley For Creating The Hurt Business

MVP wants to set the record straight: The Hurt Business was Bobby Lashley’s idea, not his.

In an interview with CHGO Sports, the manager of The Hurt Syndicate clarified the origins of the popular faction.

“People always want to give me credit for… being the founder of the Hurt Biz. It was Bobby’s idea,” MVP stated. He explained that Lashley envisioned a group that crossed “Suge Knight and The Rock’s character” from the show Ballers.

MVP also addressed his own in-ring status. While he primarily serves as a manager in AEW, he confirmed he is not officially retired.

“As long as the Hurt Syndicate is active, I’m not going to retire so that I can lace up the boots when we need a third,” he said. However, he admitted he prefers his current role: “My friends beat people up and I talk about it. Best job in the world.”
