A comprehensive documentary on the life of Hulk Hogan is officially in the works at Netflix.
Gabe Spitzer, Netflix’s VP of Sports, confirmed the project on The Varsity podcast. He revealed that production was well underway prior to Hogan’s death in July 2025, with filmmakers capturing extensive interview footage with the wrestling icon.
“Hulk Hogan, we had been filming with Hogan for 20 hours around the time of when he passed. We think that can be a good one,” Spitzer said.
The documentary is part of Netflix’s expanding slate of sports programming, which includes upcoming projects on Mike Tyson and Deion Sanders, as well as their exclusive rights to WWE Raw in the US.Facebook.
