WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam and his wife, wrestler Katie Forbes, have announced the arrival of their twin daughters. In a post on social media, RVD confirmed that the twins were born on December 26, 2025, just one day after Christmas. The couple named the girls Karma and Saba, with Van Dam confirming to fans that Saba was named in honor of his longtime tag team partner and best friend, the legendary Sabu.
“12/26/2025-Karma and Saba have officially left the womb,” Van Dam wrote. The announcement comes as a relief to fans following a difficult pregnancy for Forbes. The couple had originally announced in June that they were expecting, but complications arose in the final trimester. Forbes was hospitalized with preeclampsia, a serious condition involving high blood pressure and placental issues.
Due to the medical risks, doctors had planned to deliver the babies at 34 weeks, which aligned with the Christmas timeline. RVD had spoken to TMZ earlier in the month about the situation, preparing fans for the early arrival. The successful delivery marks a joyous end to a stressful period for the couple.
Both parents are active professional wrestlers, though their schedules have naturally slowed down recently. Van Dam, 55, has remained active on the independent circuit and in promotions like MLW and AEW, though he suffered two broken heels during MLW’s Battle Riot match in April. Forbes has not wrestled since March due to the pregnancy.
The tribute to Sabu is particularly touching given the storied history between the two men. RVD and Sabu revolutionized tag team wrestling in ECW and held gold together in WWE, maintaining a friendship that has spanned over three decades. With the arrival of Karma and Saba, the next generation of the Van Dam family has officially arrived.
