A pair of rising stars have officially joined the AEW roster following their performance at Worlds End.
Hyan and Maya World, a tag team that has been turning heads in recent months, competed on the Zero Hour pre-show against the “Sisters of Sin” (Julia Hart and Skye Blue). Although they came up short in the match, their effort did not go unnoticed. Shortly after the bout, AEW President Tony Khan took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce that both women had signed full-time contracts with the company.
“They wrestled another fantastic match at the #AEWWorldsEnd Zero Hour tonight, and now it’s official: @_thehyan + @MayaWorldd are All Elite!” Khan wrote, attaching the customary signature graphic for both wrestlers.
Reports from Fightful Select earlier in the day indicated that Hyan and Maya World were highly regarded internally. The duo had notably stepped in as last-minute replacements for Miranda Alize and Nixon Newell on the November 8 episode of Collision, earning praise for their professionalism and in-ring work under pressure. That initial opportunity has now blossomed into a permanent spot on the roster.
The signing adds depth to AEW’s growing women’s tag team division, which is currently anchored by champions The Babes of Wrath. With Hyan and Maya World now officially “All Elite,” fans can expect to see them feature more prominently on Dynamite and Collision in 2026. The next opportunity for the new signees could come as early as the New Year’s Smash edition of Dynamite this Wednesday in Omaha.
