Mick Foley Debunks Viral Rumor About Being “Furious” With WWE

Mick Foley is setting the record straight regarding his relationship with WWE.

The WWE Hall of Famer took to Instagram to debunk a viral claim from a page called “It’s Wrestling Lover,” which alleged that Foley was “furious” at WWE for using his old wrestling footage. Foley wasted no time dismantling the rumor, clarifying that WWE owns the rights to the footage and that he has no issue with them using it.

“I found out that an Instagram site called It’s Wrestling Lover is putting out a completely fabricated story about me being furious with WWE for using my wrestling footage. First of all, it’s their footage. They can do whatever they want with it,” Foley wrote.

He emphasized his pride in his body of work and urged the page to retract the false statement.

“I love everything I did when I was part of the company, and I like being seen. So, please retract this statement. Admit it’s false. Do the right thing and have a nice day!”
