The mystery surrounding Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D., continues to deepen.
The former AEW Women’s World Champion has not appeared on AEW television since November 2024. Despite Tony Khan publicly stating in late 2025 that Baker was “still very much with us,” a new report from Fightful Select suggests that a return is looking increasingly unlikely.
According to Sean Ross Sapp, there have been no creative discussions regarding Baker for a long time, even though her contract reportedly extends well into 2026.
“At this point, I don’t think that we’re going to see her back. Her deal goes well into 2026, but it’s been over a year. And at least the last time I spoke with her, she indicated that she was healthy — and that’s been like ages and ages ago,” Sapp reported. “I’ve heard no discussions regarding her in a long time outside of when we ask on media calls. I just… I don’t think it’s going to happen.”
Baker’s last match was a victory over Penelope Ford on an episode of Dynamite over a year ago. Since then, she has removed AEW references from her social media profiles, fueling speculation about a rift between her and the company.
