Four Matches Set For TNA Wrestling’s Historic AMC Debut

The card for TNA Wrestling’s highly anticipated debut on the AMC network is filling up with championship stakes and major star power.

On Thursday’s episode of Impact, the promotion officially announced two new matchups for the January 15 premiere of Thursday Night Impact. In a major title bout, TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions The IInspiration (Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay) will put their gold on the line against The Elegance Brand (Heather By Elegance and M By Elegance). The announcement was made via TNA’s social media channels, hyping the clash as a marquee attraction for the network launch.

“BREAKING: The TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship is on the line as The Inspiration defend against The Elegance Brand LIVE Thursday, January 15 at 9PM ET on the premiere of Thursday Night iMPACT! on @AMC_TV,” the company wrote.

In addition to the title match, TNA legends Matt and Jeff Hardy will be in action in a six-man tag team match. The Hardys will team with Elijah to take on the faction known as Order 4, comprised of Mustafa Ali, Jason Hotch, and John Skyler. This match marks a significant return for Elijah, who will be competing in his first match in six months. The pairing of the legendary Hardy Boyz with the returning star adds a layer of intrigue to the show as TNA looks to capture a new audience on AMC.

“BREAKING: @Iam_Elijah teams with The Hardys to take on Order 4 in his first match in 6 months LIVE Thursday, January 15 at 9PM ET on the premiere of Thursday Night iMPACT @AMC_TV,” TNA confirmed.

These additions join an already stacked lineup that features two major singles championship matches. TNA World Champion Frankie Kazarian will defend his title against Mike Santana in the main event, a match that was originally scheduled for the Genesis pay-per-view but was moved to television to bolster the debut. Also on the card, X-Division Champion Leon Slater will defend against Myron Reed.

With four high-profile matches now confirmed, TNA is aggressively positioning its move to AMC as a new era for the company. The transition from AXS TV to a larger platform like AMC represents a massive opportunity for growth, and loading the premiere episode with title defenses and established names like The Hardys is a clear strategy to retain new viewers.

Current TNA Impact Card (Jan 15):

TNA World Championship: Frankie Kazarian (c) vs. Mike Santana

X-Division Championship: Leon Slater (c) vs. Myron Reed

TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship: The IInspiration (c) vs. The Elegance Brand

Six-Man Tag Team Match: Elijah & The Hardys vs. Order 4 (Mustafa Ali, Jason Hotch & John Skyler)

Following the AMC debut, TNA will head straight into its first major event of 2026, Genesis, which takes place live on Saturday, January 17, from Garland, Texas. The momentum from Thursday night is expected to carry directly into the pay-per-view, where several rivalries will reach their boiling point.
