Tony Khan has officially added another prospect to the All Elite Wrestling women’s division.
Following her in-ring debut on Saturday’s AEW Collision: Maximum Carnage, Khan announced via social media that Zayda Steel has signed with the company. Although Steel was defeated by Marina Shafir in her debut match, her performance—and her recent alignment with a popular faction—secured her a spot on the roster.
Steel had previously appeared on Ring of Honor television in December 2025 and competed at ROH Final Battle, where she lost to Leila Grey. However, she made waves last week on Collision by joining the SkyFlight faction. Steel has stepped in to replace Grey, aligning herself with Scorpio Sky, Christopher Daniels, and the Martin brothers (Dante and Darius).
Before arriving in AEW, Steel was part of the WWE ID program starting in November 2024. She made her debut for the WWE-affiliated Evolve brand in April 2025 but ultimately decided not to renew her deal in October 2025. Her final televised match for that promotion took place on October 22 against Thea Hail.
