AEW Star Reveals She Needs More “Prehab” Before Operation

AEW

Leila Grey is facing a long road to recovery.

The AEW/ROH star took to social media to provide a detailed update on the knee injury she suffered during her TBS Championship match against Mercedes Moné on the December 6, 2025, episode of Collision. Grey confirmed she tore her ACL and pinpointed the exact moments the damage occurred.

According to Grey, she felt the “first pop” when Moné pushed her into the turnbuckles. Unsure of the severity, she continued the match, but disaster struck moments later when she attempted a running knee and felt a “second pop,” realizing something was seriously wrong.

In a video update posted on January 19, Grey revealed that her surgery has been delayed.

“I finally got to see the surgeon today, and unfortunately, the feedback that I got was, I still do not have complete range of motion in my leg… So, because of that, I need to do more prehab, at least another month of prehab, twice a week. And then, after that, he said, he should be able to operate.”
