Alec Price and Jordan Oliver Officially Sign With AEW

The AEW tag team division has received a significant infusion of youth and talent with the official signing of Alec Price and Jordan Oliver. The duo, who have made waves on the independent circuit with their high-energy style and charisma, made their televised debut on the January 21 edition of AEW Dynamite. Their arrival was foreshadowed by MJF, who had announced their signing days prior, but seeing them in action confirmed the hype. They were immediately thrown into the deep end, tasked with facing the current AEW World Tag Team Champions, FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler), in a non-title showcase match.

Despite the daunting challenge, Price and Oliver proved they belonged on the big stage. They pushed the champions to their limit, utilizing their speed and tandem offense to nearly score a massive upset. The match concluded with a frantic sequence where Alec Price missed a high-risk move, allowing FTR to capitalize with their devastating finisher, the Shatter Machine, to secure the pinfall. Although they did not walk away with the victory, the competitive nature of the bout earned them respect from the live audience and the champions alike.

Immediately following the contest, AEW President Tony Khan took to social media to make the “All Elite” graphic official for both men. The signing of Price and Oliver signals a continued commitment to scouting top-tier independent talent to refresh the roster. Known for their work in promotions like GCW and Beyond Wrestling, both men bring a loyal fanbase and a hunger to succeed on a national platform. Their chemistry as a team and individual skills suggest they will be key players in the future of the division.

Looking ahead, the addition of Price and Oliver adds depth to a tag team division that is currently ruled by FTR but constantly evolving. With established teams like The Acclaimed, The Gunns, and The Young Bucks always in the mix, fresh matchups are essential. Fans can expect Price and Oliver to quickly climb the rankings, potentially vying for a title shot of their own later in 2026 as they gain more experience under the bright lights of AEW television.
