Moose Ejected from The System as Cedric Alexander turns Heel

The hierarchy of power in TNA Wrestling shifted dramatically during the closing moments of the January 22 episode of iMPACT, as the dominant faction known as The System underwent a violent restructuring. The segment began with JDC, who had retired from in-ring competition following a loss at Genesis, introducing Bear Bronson as his replacement within the group. However, what appeared to be a standard torch-passing ceremony quickly devolved into a calculated ambush. In a shocking twist, Bronson, Brian Myers, and Eddie Edwards launched a coordinated attack on both JDC and the group’s former leader, Moose, while Alisha Edwards looked on.

As the beatdown continued, Cedric Alexander made his way to the ring wielding a steel chair. For a moment, it seemed as though the high-flyer was there to make the save for the besieged Moose. Instead, Alexander shocked the crowd by delivering a vicious chair shot to the former World Champion, cementing a heel turn and his allegiance to the new regime. The betrayal was absolute, leaving Moose and JDC lying in the wreckage of the stable they helped build.

The dust has settled on a completely revamped version of The System. The faction now consists of Eddie and Alisha Edwards, Brian Myers, and the two new additions: Bear Bronson and Cedric Alexander. By ejecting Moose, the group has cut ties with its most decorated member, signaling a ruthless new direction. Eddie Edwards later confirmed that Moose was “out,” making it clear that there is no room for sentimentality in their pursuit of dominance on AMC.

This implosion sets up a massive storyline for the coming months. Moose, now isolated and betrayed, finds himself in the unfamiliar role of a sympathetic babyface fighting against the numbers game. The addition of Alexander adds a dangerous speed and technical element to The System, while Bronson provides fresh muscle. As TNA heads toward No Surrender, fans will be eager to see how Moose responds to this treachery and whether he can find allies to combat the faction that used to be his family.
