According to Fightful Select, former AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida was present backstage at this week’s Dynamite in Orlando. Shida has not competed for the promotion since November 2024, reportedly dealing with visa renewal issues and a shoulder injury. Sources indicated she was there visiting, as she resides in Orlando. While she hasn’t been on AEW TV, she has remained active in Japan, most recently competing at Sonoko Kato’s retirement show in November.
