Former TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champion Killer Kelly has officially confirmed her departure from TNA Wrestling. As previously reported, Kelly was offered a contract extension but chose not to re-sign. Fightful Select has provided further details, reporting that the offer was a “short-term extension,” a practice that is reportedly becoming standard within the company.
Kelly’s exit opens the door for new opportunities, and there is already buzz regarding her next move. In addition to being spotted backstage at the January 14 episode of AEW Dynamite supporting her fiancé Myron Reed, the report notes that members of the AEW roster have expressed that they would push for her to join the company. However, it remains unknown if formal conversations with AEW management have taken place. Kelly had been a regular in TNA since 2022 after a previous run in NXT UK.
