Tommaso Ciampa has officially arrived in All Elite Wrestling. The “Psycho Killer” made his shock debut on AEW programming on January 28, immediately confronting TNT Champion Mark Briscoe. The confrontation set the stage for a championship match between the two on this Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision.
In a digital exclusive released shortly after his appearance, Ciampa made his intentions clear: “Tonight, Tommaso Ciampa became All Elite. Saturday, I become the AEW TNT Champion. The psycho killer is alive!”
Ciampa’s arrival comes just days after his WWE contract expired on January 21. He was moved to the WWE alumni roster page on January 27, signaling his formal departure after a tenure that began in 2015 and included reigns as NXT Champion and Tag Team Champion. Following his exit, Ciampa filed trademarks for “Psycho Killer” and “Psycho King,” foreshadowing his return to his roots.
