Tommaso Ciampa has officially joined All Elite Wrestling. Following his surprise debut on Dynamite, where he answered an open challenge from Mark Briscoe, Tony Khan confirmed the signing by sharing the traditional “All Elite” graphic. Ciampa waste no time making an impact, releasing a digital exclusive promo where he declared, “Tonight, Tommaso Ciampa became All Elite. On Collision, I become the new TNT Champion. The Psycho Killer is alive!”
Current TNT Champion Mark Briscoe expressed his excitement about the matchup, recalling their history in Ring of Honor over a decade ago. “You know, I couldn’t have took a spiral notebook and a ballpoint pen and wrote it down any better than the way it happened in Austin, Texas,” Briscoe said in a post-show promo. “Tommaso Ciampa, long time brother! But hey, that’s what I like… I want the battle, I want the war; I want to fight, baby! So Tommaso! Man, I can’t wait for Saturday Night Collision.”
The match is set for this Saturday’s Collision, marking Ciampa’s first bout outside of the WWE system since September 2016. The card also features The Babes Of Wrath vs. Julia Hart & Skye Blue for the Women’s Tag Team Titles, Clark Connors vs. Darby Allin, and The Rascalz vs. CRU.
