The hype cycle for WWE 2K26 has officially begun, with 2K Games announcing this morning that CM Punk will grace the cover of this year’s installment. The game is scheduled for release on Friday, March 13, across PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. This edition boasts the largest roster in franchise history, featuring over 400 wrestlers including legends like Randy Savage and Andre the Giant, as well as modern stars like Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, and Stephanie Vaquer.

Punk will also be the focus of the game’s Showcase mode. The description teases that “CM Punk jumps through time to relive incredible moments from his career,” allowing players to battle through his “rise, rebellion, and return.” Additionally, viral sensation Joe Hendry has been confirmed as the pre-order bonus character.

New gameplay features include four fresh match types: Inferno, Dumpster, I Quit, and Three Stages of Hell. The game will be available in four editions ranging from the $69.99 Standard Edition to the $149.99 Monday Night War Edition, with early access beginning March 6 for premium buyers.
