Tommaso Ciampa’s transition to All Elite Wrestling happened at breakneck speed, with the star revealing that the deal came together in under 48 hours. Speaking to SHAK Wrestling, Ciampa disclosed that he met AEW President Tony Khan for the very first time on the day of his debut.
Ciampa described the immediate connection he felt upon speaking with the CEO. “We briefly chatted and immediately I was like, wow, this guy’s passion is contagious,” Ciampa said. “He loves his roster, his fan base. He loves All Elite Wrestling. He loves professional wrestling in general. I mean, it’s crazy how passionate he is, and even in that quick, brief encounter, I was like, yeah, you made the right choice.”
