“Hangman” Adam Page will be in action on this Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite in Las Vegas, as he prepares for the high-stakes Contenders Series leading into Grand Slam Australia. During Collision, Josh Alexander of the Don Callis Family announced that Page would face Mark Davis, a match later confirmed by the promotion. Davis will be competing without his tag team partner Jake Doyle, who suffered a torn bicep during a Tag Team Title match against FTR last week.
Page has made his intentions clear: he wants a shot at MJF and the AEW World Championship at Revolution on March 15. To get there, he aims to secure a spot in the number one contender’s match in Australia on February 14. The other spot in that contender’s match will be determined this Wednesday as well, when Kenny Omega clashes with Andrade El Idolo.
