Chris Jericho Still Under AEW Contract

AEW

Despite heavy speculation that Chris Jericho might return to WWE at the Royal Rumble following the potential expiration of his contract, “The Learning Tree” remains with AEW. According to Fightful Select, Jericho was never factored into WWE’s creative plans for the Rumble or the Raw Netflix premiere. While sources indicate WWE has interest in Jericho should he become available, the report states he is not currently on the market.

Jericho’s contract, signed in 2022, was scheduled to run through 2025, but he remains on the AEW roster page. It is unclear if he signed an extension or if time was added to his deal. Outside the ring, Jericho is busy with Hollywood projects. He recently posted a photo confirming his role in the Apple TV drama Margo’s Got Money Troubles, writing, “Had a blast filming with the legendary Nicole Kidman & the hilarious Nick Offerman… Premiers on April 15.”
