Fightful Select reports that Connors, whose contract was expiring, is expected to sign with AEW imminently after an offer was put on the table. Bryan Alvarez also mentioned on Wrestling Observer Live that Connors is signed.
Connors recently appeared on Collision in a strong showing against Darby Allin. His arrival has sparked further speculation regarding his War Dogs stablemate David Finlay. Fightful notes that sources within AEW believe Connors’ signing suggests an increased interest in Finlay, who is also approaching free agency and has expressed interest in working in America.
