Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite on TBS was a major success in the ratings, averaging 654,000 viewers. This slight increase from last week’s 653,000 marks the largest total audience for the program since the Grand Slam Mexico special on September 17.
The growth was even more explosive in the key 18-49 demographic, where Dynamite drew a 0.15 rating. This represents a 66.7 percent jump from the prior week, tying the show’s best performance in the demo since August 20. The show ranked tied for sixth on cable for the night, holding its own against an NBA game on ESPN that topped the charts with 1.751 million viewers and a 0.48 rating.
The boost is partially attributed to Nielsen’s revised “Big Data + Panel” rating system, which went into effect on January 26 and has led to noticeable increases for wrestling programming. Compared to the same week in 2025, overall viewership is up 8.1 percent. Against the recent nine-week average, this week’s show was up 27.2 percent in viewers and a massive 87.5 percent in the demo.
