Mercedes Mone Set to Defend WPW Championship in Winnipeg

AEW

Mercedes Mone is set to pull double duty during AEW’s upcoming trip to Winnipeg. The CEO will defend her Winnipeg Pro Wrestling (WPW) Women’s Championship at the WPW Fight at the Museum event on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. This show takes place the night before AEW presents Dynamite at the Canada Life Centre in the same city.

Mone’s challenger will be determined at WPW’s events on March 13 and 14. This marks her first defense of the title since defeating Jody Threat on October 19. WPW is riding high after a sold-out event with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra that garnered national news coverage.
