Hook Takes Over Leadership of The Opps During Samoa Joe’s Absence

With Samoa Joe sidelined due to injury, the leadership of his faction, The Opps, has officially changed hands. It was announced on the January 28 episode of Dynamite that Joe had suffered a non-contact injury and was not cleared to compete.

On the February 7 edition of AEW Collision, it was revealed that Joe has passed the reins of the group to Hook for the duration of his recovery. The “Cold Hearted Handsome Devil” will now lead the stable on AEW television while Joe recuperates.
