The highly anticipated clash between Becky Lynch and the returning AJ Lee has been fast-tracked. WWE announced on Raw that the two will face off for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship at Elimination Chamber on February 28.
The match was made official after Lee goaded Lynch into accepting the challenge following a physical altercation where Lynch attacked Lee from behind. Despite the match taking place later this month, Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that a match between the two is still planned for WrestleMania 42 as well.
