The wrestling world loves a crossover, and the mutual admiration society between AEW World Champion MJF and WWE Superstar Becky Lynch continues to grow. The two are currently castmates in the upcoming film Happy Gilmore 2, and their time on set seems to have forged a genuine bond.
“Becky Believers Come in All Shapes and Sizes”
Speaking to Chris Van Vliet on Insight, MJF didn’t mince words when expressing his opinion on “The Man.” In typical MJF fashion, he stated, “Becky rules, by the way, if you don’t like Becky Lynch, go f*ck yourself.” The soundbite quickly made rounds on social media, catching the attention of Lynch herself.
Lynch seemingly responded on X (formerly Twitter), writing, “BECKY BELIEVERS come in all shapes and sizes. They are from all walks of life. Some are even located behind FORBIDDEN DOORS!” The reference to the “Forbidden Door”—a term often used to describe the barrier between WWE and other promotions—was a clear nod to the AEW star. MJF replied to the post with a GIF of himself nodding in agreement, further fueling fan speculation about their friendship.

While they perform for rival companies, their interaction highlights the camaraderie that often exists between top-tier talent regardless of the logo on the turnbuckle.
