Logan Paul has officially transitioned from celebrity attraction to full-time WWE Superstar, signing a new long-term contract in January that aligns him with The Vision faction on RAW. In a candid interview with Sports Illustrated‘s “The Takedown,” Paul explained his motivation for increasing his commitment to the ring.

“I realized I’m too good to leave all that meat on the bone. The WWE needs me… The audience needs me, because there is no one like me,” Paul stated confidently. He argued that despite a roster full of “absolute gangsters,” WWE lacked a Logan Paul.
Paul also took shots at NFL athletes, claiming 99% of them would fail in WWE. “If you put any of the WWE Superstars on the roster… on an NFL team, they would do bare minimum… If you plucked 99% of NFL athletes… and put them in a WWE ring, they would s**t the bed.”
He further discussed his obsession with Pokémon and how his background in content creation perfectly prepared him for the showmanship and storytelling required in wrestling, calling it the “trifecta” of his passions.
