AEW makes history tonight with its first-ever stadium show in Australia, emanating live from the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney. Grand Slam Australia promises a night of high-stakes action, headlined by MJF defending the AEW World Championship against the monstrous Brody King.
Championships and Hair on the Line Down Under
The card is stacked with unique stipulations and title implications. Mark Briscoe looks to reclaim the TNT Championship in a Ladder Match against hometown favorite Kyle Fletcher. In the women’s division, The Babes of Wrath defend their Tag Team titles against the “MegaBad” duo of Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford.
Perhaps the most personal bout on the card is the Mixed Tornado Tag Team match between “Timeless” Toni Storm & Orange Cassidy and The Death Riders (Marina Shafir & Wheeler Yuta). The stakes couldn’t be higher: the loser of the fall will have their head shaved bald. Additionally, “Hangman” Adam Page faces Andrade El Idolo to determine the #1 Contender for the World Title at Revolution, and Jon Moxley defends the Continental Championship against Konosuke Takeshita.
