AEW Expected “F* ICE” Chants During Grand Slam Australia**

Officials Not Shocked by Crowd Reaction Despite International Setting

The loud “F*** ICE” chants that echoed through Qudos Bank Arena during MJF vs. Brody King at Grand Slam Australia became an instant viral moment. However, a new report suggests that AEW officials were far from surprised by the outburst.

According to Fightful Select, the internal reaction was not one of shock. “A number of AEW sources we spoke to still expected the ‘F*ck ICE’ chants for Brody King, despite being in Australia,” the report noted.

The chants, which reference U.S. immigration enforcement, have become a recurring theme during Brody King’s recent appearances, including a previous Dynamite in Las Vegas. The report also highlighted that travel logistics—with many executives flying over separately from the talent—meant that some rumors regarding Warner Bros. Discovery’s stance on the chants hadn’t fully circulated to everyone in management before the show.
