AEW World Champion MJF is returning to his roots for a high-profile independent booking that has the New York wrestling scene buzzing. It was announced on Sunday that “The Devil” will put his AEW World Championship on the line at House of Glory’s No Turning Back event this Friday, February 20. The show will take place at the Amazura Concert Hall in Jamaica, New York—less than an hour from MJF’s hometown of Plainview, Long Island.
“Monumental” Match Against Zilla Fatu
House of Glory (HOG) has billed the main event as a “Champion vs. Champion” showdown, pitting MJF against the reigning HOG Crown Jewel Champion, Zilla Fatu. While the match features two champions, only MJF’s AEW title will be at stake. Fatu, the son of the late Umaga and a member of the legendary Anoa’i wrestling dynasty, represents a fresh and dangerous challenge for the AEW star.

This marks only the second time MJF has defended the belt outside of AEW during this current reign, following a victory over Alec Price at the Limitless Rumble in Maine last month. Since reclaiming the gold at World’s End, MJF has been an active fighting champion, logging successful defenses against Bandido, Price, and most recently Brody King at Grand Slam Australia. The HOG card also features AEW’s Andrade El Idolo challenging Charles Mason for the HOG Heavyweight Championship, making it a must-see event for AEW diehards.
