The final pieces of the puzzle for the upcoming Elimination Chamber premium live event have fallen into place. During the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, both Jey Uso and Raquel Rodriguez secured the final entry spots for their respective steel structure matches in grueling qualifying bouts.
Unplanned Finish Leads to Jey Uso Victory
The men’s qualifying match concluded with an unexpected twist due to a legitimate in-ring injury. Jey Uso emerged victorious in a triple threat match against Bronson Reed and Original El Grande Americano, securing the pinfall over Americano with a spectacular frog splash. However, this finish was an improvised audible. Bronson Reed was originally scripted to win the match and advance to the Elimination Chamber. Unfortunately, Reed suffered a torn biceps while attempting to break up a pinfall attempt earlier in the bout.
Unable to continue competing safely, the match participants quickly pivoted, leading to Jey Uso’s impromptu qualification. WWE later confirmed the severity of the injury, announcing that the Australian powerhouse would be out of action indefinitely while he recovers from the torn biceps.
On the women’s side, Raquel Rodriguez punched her ticket to the Elimination Chamber by defeating Kairi Sane and IYO SKY in a hard-hitting triple threat match. The closing sequence saw SKY execute a flawless tornado DDT, only for Sane to opportunistically throw her out of the ring. As Sane ascended the turnbuckles for the In-Sane Elbow, Rodriguez managed to get her knees up, countering the impact. Rodriguez immediately capitalized, hitting the Tejana Bomb to secure the victory.
It was also officially established on Raw that the winner of the women’s Elimination Chamber match will go on to challenge Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 42. This clarification came after 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble winner Liv Morgan made her official WrestleMania decision earlier in the broadcast. Morgan bypassed Cargill entirely, opting instead to attack Stephanie Vaquer to set up a blockbuster title match on the grandest stage of them all.
