Double dates can be stressful under normal circumstances, but when your dining companions are two of the most physically fit professional wrestlers in the industry, picking the right outfit becomes a major challenge. Brandi Rhodes recently opened up about this specific struggle during the latest episode of her YouTube show, A Shot With Brandi.
“You’re Jacked and Always Naked”
The episode featured WWE Superstar Chelsea Green as a special guest. The two women enjoyed a relaxed conversation over dinner and drinks in Rhodes’ kitchen. During the chat, Brandi confessed that going on double dates with Green and her husband, WWE star Matt Cardona, is the only time she and her husband, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, actually stress over their wardrobe choices.
Brandi humorously pointed out that Cardona’s massive, beefier frame compared to Cody’s, combined with the couple’s penchant for showing off their physiques, makes outfit selection difficult. “When me and Cody go out with you and Matt, it’s the only time we have conversations about what we should wear,” Brandi admitted. “Because we’re like, first of all, both of y’all are jacked, and you’re always naked.”
She joked that she and Cody actively try to avoid looking like the conservative older relatives of the dynamic WWE couple. “So we’re like, I don’t, we don’t wanna look like your parents… Or you know, like your dowdy siblings… So we’re like, ‘All right, what are we wearing?'” The lighthearted exchange highlighted the close friendship between the two high-profile wrestling couples.
