TNA Impact Viewership Sees Growth Following Move to AMC Network

TNA

TNA Wrestling continues to find its footing and build momentum following its recent transition to the AMC network. The latest episode of Thursday Night Impact saw a notable increase in its audience, averaging 249,000 viewers. This represents a 6.9% rise from the previous week’s broadcast and stands as the second-highest overall audience for the program since its network debut.

Steady Gains in the Key 18-49 Demographic

The positive trends extended to the crucial 18-49 demographic, where Impact averaged a 0.04 rating. This figure is a significant 33.3% increase from the prior week’s performance. The 0.04 rating also ties the fourth-highest mark the show has achieved in that category across the eight episodes that have aired on AMC to date.

The broadcast faced stiff competition on Thursday night, airing head-to-head with an NHL game on ESPN that dominated the cable charts with a 0.26 rating and over 800,000 viewers. Despite the heavy sports competition, Impact tied for 61st among all prime time cable network programming for the night.

When compared to the established averages prior to last week, the latest episode showed strong growth, finishing up 15.7% in overall viewership while holding steady in the key demographic. As TNA continues to refine its presentation and storytelling on the new platform, these consistent gains provide a promising outlook for the promotion’s television future.
